In an AP article published today, the following appears right at the end.
Jackson's officers credit stepped-up operations and better intelligence with what the 24th Marines says was the halving of insurgent attacks by December.Shouldn't this have been the headline?

I publish this blog because I want to and I can afford to. I am not affiliated with any political organization nor have I ever been. I joined the Libertarian Party once, but never renewed my dues. I'm interested in truth and honesty in the media, and that is what I write about. I blog anonymously because I think my writing should stand on its own, and my true identity is irrelevant. It is the ideas that matter, not the person.
