Zell Miller pounds Chris Matthews

You had to see it to believe it. Chris Matthews interviewed Zell Miller on Hardball tonight, and in his typical fashion asked followup questions before Miller could answer the previous one. Miller was having none of it. He put Matthews in his place. By the end of the exchange, Matthews was calling Miller "Sir". You can read the transcript here.

Editor and Publisher already has a piece about it, although they get it wrong. They write, "Matthews had gotten on Miller's case right from the start, asking him if he really believed what he had said in his speech about Senator John Kerry wanting to defend America with "spitballs." As Miller fudged his answer,". Now read the transcript and see if you can find the "fudge". It's ridiculous to call this reporting when they interject opinion right in the middle of it.
