Now here's a laugher

UPI reports that "Several members of Congress sent a letter Tuesday to Rupert Murdoch, owner of Fox News, to express their opposition to what they say is the network's 'unfair and unbalanced' bias towards the Republican Party." Their complaints are based upon recent studies by Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting and the Program on International Policy Attitudes.

F.A.I.R is a well known left-leaning media "watchdog" that can't seem to find a liberal slant in the news despite extensive research. The Program on International Policy Attitudes receives its funding from Rockefeller Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Tides Foundation, Ford Foundation, German Marshall Fund of the United States, Compton Foundation, Carnegie Corporation, Benton Foundation, Ben and Jerry's Foundation, Americans Talk Issues Foundation and the Circle Foundation. Now there's some unbiased sources!

Somehow I think the Media Research Center might come to a slightly different conclusion than these two.

The Congressmen are actually threatening congressional action if Fox News doesn't come around to their point of view!
A spokesman for Rep. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said there were legislative avenues that the group could pursue as a secondary measure but declined to speculate on what those might be.
So this is what we've come to? The slightest bit of opposition to one's point of view is met with outright, blantant threats of censorship? And this by Congressmen - people who are sworn to uphold the Constitution?

If the Republicans have any gonads at all, they'll immediately ask for CBS, CNN, ABC and NBC to meet to discuss their bias.

Hat tip to Oh THAT Liberal Media
