More on the terror alert

Rantingprofs excoriates the Washington Post for their coverage of the terror alerts (and rightfully so) and makes some very cogent arguments about press coverage. Her arguments are similar (but focused on WaPo rather than the Times) to the ones that I made earlier today.

Money quote: "The amount of energy that we spend fighting over whether or not this threat is real or not, if devoted to actually making ourselves safer, would be an awesome thing. Can we now get back to fighting the God damn war? (Pardon my language.)"
