Democrats destroying America?

Vodkapundit discusses some of the Democratic tactics being used to manipulate the election and decides his way of dealing with the problem is to vote a straight Republican ticket to "punish" the Democrats. You should read the comments section. I don't know...maybe I'm out of touch, but I don't think a crisis is looming. While I agree that some of what the Democrats have done is pretty disgusting, if you know anything about our political history you know that things have been much worse than this in the past.

America is a strong country. We've endured a great deal and come out better in the end. We'll survive this election as well, no matter who wins. Our founding fathers were pretty wise. They system that they designed is quite flexible and able to withstand a great deal of shenanigans. Besides, a thoroughly Republican Congress isn't going to let Kerry get away with much. Mind you, I think it would be serious mistake to elect Kerry, but I don't think the country will collapse if he's elected.

These are exciting times. With the advent of the Internet and blogs, information that was hidden is now readily available. The old media has lost its grip on the country, and the truth is becoming more and more available. Americans aren't stupid. They'll figure out what's going on and make their decisions accordingly.
