Sanity in the midst of chaos

Alaa writes in his blog of the kidnap of Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's relatives. Rational people know that his relatives will be beheaded. This is the fate of all high profile victims that can generate publicity for the murderers and break the hearts of the families involved. Alaa asks the question that must be asked, especially of those on the left who somehow find themselves aligned with murderers and thugs.

It is this kind of enemy that the young men and women of the MNF and the new Iraqi Army are facing. Can anybody even with an atom of decency doubt the justice and righteousness of their cause?

Yes, Alaa, there are people who do doubt the justice and righteousness of the cause.
