FINALLY Arabs speak out

A group of Arab liberals has petitioned the UN (according to a translation at MEMRI) to establish an international tribunal for the prosecution of terrorists. Given that the UN can't even define what terrorism is, I doubt they will do much with the request. It is heartening, however, to see Arabs taking on this problem publicly. Democracy will never florish in the mideast until the stranglehold of the imams on the culture is destroyed. Arabs desparately need to enjoy the same separation of church and state that we enjoy here. (I use that phrase in the Jeffersonian sense, not the modern liberal sense.)
