One Iraqi dentist makes more sense than all the so-called "elites"

Mohammed, at Iraq the Model, has written a post about the Iraq war that makes more sense than all the dunderheads on the left. He criticizes the media for their role:
But this time I see that the western media has went beyond the limits of objective criticism and rational pursue for truth.
The media are not displaying their view point leaving the decision making to the audience. I see that the media are pushing us to adopt their opinions and this is totally unacceptable.
The media is losing credibility among audience and this is happening so fast and it is a huge mistake.
I want to say to the media: by continuing like this you’re taking the dictators and terrorists’ side and you’re feeding their arrogance when you say "We were wrong when we went to Iraq" or "Iraq was better off before the war and Iraqis and the world are suffering because of the war" and you’re using the failure to find the Iraqi WMDs and the casualties among Iraqi civilians as a weapon in this media war.
Then he goes on to argue that the right choice, despite the problems and the loss of life, was to remove Sadaam from power.

Why is it that an Iraqi dentist is more clear headed than Rhodes Scholars?
"This pre-emptive attack undermines the indispensable role of the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security through multilateralism," said AID spokesperson Jason Wasfy, a Marshall Scholar from Great Falls, Virginia.
The "indispensable role of the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security"? You mean like they did in the Rwanda? Like they did in Somalia? In Yugoslavia? In the Congo? In Iraq? Like they're doing now in Sudan? Please!! The UN has become the laughingstock of the average world citizen. It is more impotent than a steer. And possibly more corrupt than Tammany Hall.
RSAW believes that democracy must come from within and cannot be imposed by force. "The determination of the US and UK to wage war before exhausting diplomatic alternatives defies the will of the international community," said Elizabeth Angell, a Rhodes Scholar from Seattle, Washington. "The US claims to promote democracy in the Middle East as it coerces Turkey and other states into supporting this war, while Tony Blair overrides widespread domestic opposition to British participation in the military campaign."
We must first "exhaust diplomatic alternatives"? This is what passes for logic? Seventeen! resolutions and the UN still wouldn't take action against Iraq! If a parent gave their child seventeen warnings but never took action the courts would find them negligent and take the child away. Yet a Rhodes Scholar (actually a hundred of them) can't figure this out?

What is it about "elite" educations that fogs the brain and screws up the thought processes so much that right is wrong and wrong is right? That socialism and dictatorships make more sense than freedom and democracy? That coddling dictators, in the face of centuries of history that prove it is the wrong course of action, is the correct course of action?

It appears there is little more debilitating to logical thinking than a graduate education at an "elite" university. Not to worry. Bloggers like Mohammed are the news media of today. The "experts" are being ignored in the face of overwhelming evidence from the people.
