Juan Cole and the VRWC

Juan Cole is one of those left-wing idiots who has never seen anything positive in his life and wouldn't recognize something good if it smacked him in his tiny cranium. (And no, I won't link to his puerile blog.) Recently he tried to promote the theory that the guys from Iraq The Model were CIA plants or at least agents for the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. It backfired on him as a number of people jumped down his throat immediately, and now he's backpedaling bigtime. But not before the brothers Iraqi brought him up short, twice. I had to laugh, because Cole is one of those so-called "experts" who got his hat handed to him when he tried to pontificate on Iraqi history.

It never ceases to amaze me how people who choose as their profession the study and teaching of history are so clueless about its lessons.
